About The Everest Foundation

A Los Angeles 501(c)(3) nonprofit that reflects the legacy of Dr. Edwin A.D. Everest, The Everest Foundation works with leaders and students in graduate medical education to resolve the urgent matter of physician shortage and residency bottleneck in the United States. The Everest Foundation coordinates the placement of skilled students and graduates from around the world with teaching hospitals, health care providers, and medical schools.

With an advisory board made up of medicine, business, and academic leaders, the nonprofit is guided by Mrs. Agata and Mrs. Bimla Everest, who take a hands-on, holistic approach to their mission of connecting residents and organizations. Their compassionate efforts enable groundbreaking research to facilitate high-level care in rural and other impacted regions that lack medical resources.

Befitting its holistic and tailored approach, the Everest Foundation has fostered long term relationships with many institutions. This personalized approach is also emphasized in candidate assessment and selection, with high levels of motivation assured when residency goals are met.
